FROSTBITE: ONI Concepts

Designs for the ONI.
Inspired from Ogres from both Western and Japanese folklore, as well as Theatre masks from different cultures. e.g. Topeng masks.
His initial designs were based on the Baku, which are Japanese supernatural beings that are said to devour dreams and nightmares. The Japanese term Baku has two current meanings, referring to both the traditional dream-devouring creature and to the Malayan tapir.
