I wanted to create a character that can be identified easily from the environment. Also designed her to have a limited number of bones needed for rigging.
FROSTBITE - a cross-platform competitive game in which players use the spatial mapping abilities of the Microsoft HoloLens to scan their environment and create a miniature snow world that conforms to the real-world surroundings. Within this world, up to four Augmented Reality (AR) users can guide miniature ‘Miko’ characters across an arctic forest, where they run, hide and ring magic bells, all in an attempt to escape falling into the jaws of a ravenous ‘Oni’ monster, who is controlled by a single player using Virtual Reality (VR). https://animallogicacademy.uts.edu.au/project/frostbite/
